| AQUABOT MARK V, the classic cleaner that has been time-tested and constantly improved over 18 years. When the Aquabot was introduced in 1983 it debuted as the only robotic pool cleaner that could remove algae and bacteria, thanks to its exclusive 2 micron filtering system. Sixteen years later it and its sister models still hold that distinction. There are several new pretenders on the market, however the cautious and prudent buyer should ascertain the porisity of the filter system. Anything 20 microns or more have virtually no chance of filtering and removing algae and bacteria which grow to about this size.
The Mark V, often referred to simply as the "Aquabot," will work in virtually any residential pool. However, for pools over 36' in length, the faster (6500 sq. ft./min.) Turbo line is recommended.
This classic unit has all the major features of the line, including independence from the main filter, full pool coverage, minimal maintenance, microfiltering, etc. |
